Canon reveals EOS C300 camera and a short film

Yesterday Canon announced two professional-grade digital cameras the EOS C300 and the EOS C300 PL. The two models are identical, except that one uses the EF lens mount (meaning it can use existing Canon EF lenses) and the other has a PL mount.

Canon also announced a range of new glass lenses specifically designed for the C300, including a 14.5-60mm and 30-300mm lens (EF and PL mounts), as well as a 24mm, 50mm and 85mm prime lenses (EF mount only).

According to Canon, the C300 should be available in January worldwide for US$20,000.

Renowned photographer and director Vincent Laforet has produced a short action/sci-fi film using the C300 called Mobius, make sure you check it out below because there's an awesome twist at the end.
